This steel cylinder came in to the store as a decommissioned oxygen tank. I cut the bottom off and welded a ring to the top for hanging. A heavy black oxide coating was built up in a fire pit which improves resistance to rust as well as providing a pleasant patina. The frame was built out of beam off cuts and finished with a steel base for leveling. It comes with a mallet for ringing made from an old rubber wheel and long bolt. It measures 28” tall, 20 1/2” wide and 8” deep.
